Each member of Phi Rho Eta Fraternity, Inc. is of exceptional quality. Our undergraduate members are expected to be social leaders,as illustrated by those who have served as President of their campus Greek Councils and holding top Executive Board positions in some of the leading University organizations. Chapters and Colonies are expected to set high academic standards, we strive for our undergraduate members to have no less than a 3.0 (4.0 scale) semester and cumulative GPA. Our Graduate members attend some of the nations top institutions of higher learning and are working towards professional degrees (i.e.law, philosophy, business, medical). Our professional members are doctors, lawyers, professors, entrepreneurs and illustrate the greatest leadership within Phi Rho Eta Fraternity, Inc. putting on unparalleled programs and events in the community.
Further, all members work unremittingly to uplift others, as exemplified by the 50 hours of service that each member of Phi Rho Eta Fraternity, Inc. must volunteer each semester.
Phi Rho Eta Fraternity, Inc. intertwines the traditional aspects of Greek social life with an external community development structure that enables the Fraternity to offer inimitable qualities that enhance our membership's ability to profoundly affect the nation's leading campus communities.
One of the cornerstones of Phi Rho Eta Fraternity, Inc., the Mentor Teacher Brotherâ„¢ mentorship program ("MTB"), directly relates to the interplay between fellowship and community development that the Fraternity promulgates. MTB is designed to provide at-risk males with the tools necessary to succeed in life despite the odds. The program allows members of the Fraternity, contributors, and volunteers, to establish and maintain, positive, meaningful relationships with those who need it most. By striving to set the standard of manhood through academics, social leadership, community development, ethical behavior, and adherence to the organization's principles of Pride, Respect, and Excellence, members of the Fraternity are able to face the dauntless task of eradicating the constant turmoil that young at-risk males are forced to cope with everyday.
